So after doing a let's-play of this game on one of my YouTube channels, and getting featured for a spotlight in Plexicrafts book club, this game has been getting some attention again. While I had no intention of releasing any further updates, it has come to my attention that the most recent available version of this game is no longer available anywhere. So, let's fix that.

With RMN going down for the foreseeable future, and possibly permanently, Bloodstained Hands can now only be downloaded here, on Itch. To that end, I want to make sure this version is as up-to-date as possible, and there were apparently some updated versions released on RMN that were not released here. Fortunately I still had the version history saved on my hard drive, so here it is! Version 5.9.8!

Well, sort of. Version 5.9.8 was essentially the definitive version, with several updates to how certain game mechanics work and an overall improvement to the post-game. But this is version 5.9.9, with a few other minor changes. Nothing actually game-changing, but some typos have been fixed and a visual glitch that occurs when using certain Overdrives has been corrected.

At any rate, thank you to everyone who has supported this game over the years! This is actually, for real this time, the last update for Bloodstained Hands, and likely the only place this game will ever be featured, unless I can somehow get this game on Steam (don't hold your breath for that). From this point forward, I will be focusing much more exclusively on my project in progress, Thrall. Feel free to check that out too.
